With over a decade of teaching and performing experience, Galen brings to his lessons a wide variety of music genres including big band swing, classic rock, latin jazz, heavy metal, classical, funk and everything in between. A graduate of the humber jazz program with a bachelor of music, he has a strong formal background in music theory as well as a strong ear for lifting lines from a recording. His easy going approach combined with his formal training are a great combination.
